Our Story
Serving Demorest and Habersham County
Demorest Baptist Church is a family of believers that has committed together to love God, love others, and share the Good News. We come from all walks of life and many different backgrounds, but we are made one through our identity as redeemed members of the Church of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Jesus has dramatically changed our lives, and we want to see Him change the lives of the people around us.
Our aim as a body of believers, under the headship of our Lord Jesus Christ, is to know for ourselves and to see HOPE known among the nations through Christ. As we do so, we earnestly plea with the power and strength granted to us by God’s grace to HONOR Him with our lives as living worship, for He alone is worthy of our worship. Finally, we seek to HELP others come to know the hope we have in Jesus and to honor Him with their lives in the same manner. May God’s glory be found here, as it is in heaven.
